Epic Loot Games lives up to its name by being one of the best game stores in the Miami Valley. I have personally shopped at this store for years. They have board games, second-hand gaming systems, video games, miniatures, drinks, candy, and a fantastic room for gaming events. Honestly, you can’t get much better than Epic Loot Games in Centerville, OH.
What Epic Loot Games Offer
Epic Loot Games offers a variety of things, but mainly, it provides a community of gamers. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone in to shop, and the gaming area is loaded with enthusiastic gamers. Of course, this is only sometimes the case, but I love it when I happen upon an event. It’s fun to stand back and watch people gaming and having a blast. I have never joined in on the fun, but I’m sure I could! Call and ask about the upcoming events if you feel brave enough to attend.
A typical date night
So, my husband and I try to squeeze in as many date nights as possible, and we are as predictable as a clockâfirst, dinner, and second, Epic Loot. I know this may not seem like much of a date to some, but when we go, we usually snag a new game and head home to learn and play. Navigating The Store
So back to Epic Loot Games, they have remodeled their store in 2022. Everything has been categorized and moved to different sections. When you first enter, on your left will be miniatures and games that pair with them. On the right, you have your role-playing games. Think Dungeons and Dragons and things that are of that nature. Straight ahead of you will be the new releases, the fresh new hot items. If you are looking for children’s games, look to your far right in the front corner; this is where the HABA Games and other well-known brands are. All of your other board games are in the middle of the store. Your Magic the Gathering cards are close to the registers, and your card sleeves and tiny games are towards the back.
Epic Loot has more than just board games, though. They also have a significant selection of video games. So I took my son on his 14th birthday and snagged him a PS4! Yes, it was pre-owned, but my son was thrilled, and the device performs flawlessly. If you are looking for something specific, it may be best to call them before heading to the store. Their stock is based on who brought an item to sell to them.
Food and Drinks!?
They have food, drinks, and facilities available if you are thirsty or hungry or need to use the restroom. In addition, the bathroom is stocked with complimentary hygiene items. Seriously, they have tried to problem-solve a surprise situation.
In summary, I can’t say a bad thing about Epic Loot. I have been a customer for years and will stay that way. Indeed, I encourage you to stop over and browse their store. It’s leisurely and peaceful; if not for anything else, you can look at the incredible artwork on the game boxes. But, of course, if you love art, that’s always entertaining, as most of them are impressive.
