Social Deduction Games, aka Hidden Traitor Games, are games where typically there is a person who secretly is out to betray you. Indeed, these games can turn your loved ones, the people you trust most, into lying, conniving, deceptive, horrible human beings! Don’t take it personally. They are, after all, just trying to win a game, but don’t be surprised if you are thrown under the bus, figuratively speaking. In fact, my spouse has looked me dead in the face and declared his absolute honesty, that he was on my side, only to stab me in the back and destroy my trust at the game’s end. It’s all good fun, so don’t take it personally! Trust me. You will do the same to your spouse, sibling, or best friend.

Hopefully, you are a decent liar and can get away with your trickery. Unfortunately, for me, lying isn’t something I’m good at doing. I almost always lose these games if I’m the secret traitor. My worst enemy, my husband! He can spot a lie from me from a mile away.

Traitor games are my favorite category of games, period. Even with the knife sticking out of my back, they are so much fun! Below, you will find a list of some of my favorites!
