A Lunchtime Visit to TJ Chumps in Kettering
Last week, we stopped by the Kettering TJ Chumps for lunch and were delighted with the experience. Despite its smaller size, the location still offers a diverse menu and the same attention to detail that fans have come to expect.
We began with the Mac Bites, a must-try appetizer. These little bites of mac and cheese are coated in a crispy golden breading and deep-fried to perfection. Dipped in their tangy chipotle ranch, they were nothing short of addictive—a true comfort food delight.
Jonas ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, which was bursting with flavor. Packed with tender, spicy chicken and fresh toppings, the portion size was so generous that Jonas couldn’t finish the second half! For his side, he chose the onion rings, a standout on their own. Perfectly fried and seasoned, they were crispy without being greasy—a hallmark of great onion rings.
I went with The Pastrami, which exceeded my expectations. It was thick, hearty, and filled with mouthwatering pastrami and gooey cheese. Each bite was perfection. My side of fries, served hot and crisp, rounded out the meal beautifully.
