Jonas and I ventured to Venecia Italian Restaurant for lunch. They are a small Italian restaurant in Kettering, OH. Venecia offers several different meal options, from classic dishes you’d expect to see to a few items that may surprise you. When we went there, it was lunchtime and a seat-yourself situation.
Design Inside of Venecia
Inside, it’s a small open-concept design. On the left side of the restaurant, there appears to be an area that could be useful for small parties or business meetings. In the center of the diner are tables, and to the right, there are booths. We sat in a booth because that’s what I prefer ten times out of ten.
Service
The waitress approached us quickly, gave us lunch menus, and took our drink order. We didn’t wait long, she returned promptly with our drinks quickly. Honestly, there was never a time we sat too long. We were both satisfied with the service.
What We Ordered at Venencia Italian Restaurant
We wanted to try an appetizer and got their Garlic Rolls. They were delicious! Jonas and I ate every single one of them! These are six soft rolls covered in butter and garlic. I ordered the Chicken New York Style Roll and Jonas ordered the calzone with various meets for lunch. We thought we were getting two very different things, but they were very similar. First, let me say they were huge! These things took up the size of the entire plate and only cost $9.99! Also, they were stuffed full of cheese. Honestly, I couldn’t eat all of mine and ended up taking it home for dinner. Jonas put his calzone down like a champ.
Final Thoughts on Venencia Italian Restaurant
Overall, we had a great lunch and a pleasant experience at Venecia Italian Restaurant. I would return with my family for another visit. It’s most certainly worth exploring.
