Milano’s Pizza Subs Taps

Milano’s Dayton Ohio

Streetlight Eats ventures to Milanos Dayton Ohio on Brown Street, to savor the pizzas, subs, and taps. Let’s talk about our experience and see what Milano’s has to offer.

Locations

Milano’s boasts three locations, with this review focusing on the Brown Street spot adjacent to UD (University of Dayton). However, they also have establishments in Miami Township and Beavercreek, offering a variety of options for Milano’s enthusiasts.

Appetizer

To kick off our dining experience, Jonas and I decided to start with the loaded Milano’s potatoes. Topped with cheddar, bacon, sour cream, and chives, these hand-cut wedges left a positive impression on us and our bellies. The appetizer was so delightful that we devoured it quickly, neither of us wanting to share the last one.

Main Course Selections

I opted for the club, a sandwich featuring ham, bacon, turkey, lettuce, tomato, and special seasoning. While I found the seasoning a bit too peppery for my taste, the sandwich was juicy and satisfying. Meanwhile, Jonas ventured into Milano’s limited-time October Fest menu, choosing the American schnitzel. Topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and Helman’s mayonnaise, it offered a unique twist on a German tradition.

Our Thoughts

Overall, the food was pleasant for both of us. Despite my seasoning preference and Jonas’ adventurous choice, we enjoyed our meals. The appetizer left a particularly favorable impression, showcasing Milano’s ability to deliver on taste. We would get those potatoes again every time!
