All The Best Delicatessen

Are you on the lookout for a new deli or sandwich shop in the Centerville-Kettering area that’s a cut above the rest? Well, look no further than All The Best Delicatessen, located just off of 48 or Far Hills, a little north of Whipp Road. In this review, we share our thoughts on our recent lunch experience at this intriguing deli.

All The Best Delicatessen

A Meaty Affair

We indulged in a delightful lunch, with Jonas opting for the corned beef Reuben and I chose the turkey sandwich. Both were full-sized sandwiches, generously packed with meat, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Jonas shared, “I got a whole sandwich, but I really could have made do with half because they were very meaty, full of meat.”

A Side of Fries

We added to the meal a side of fries, which turned out to be ample enough for sharing. I want to note, the fries reminded me of PennStation’s fries.

There was an unique white dipping sauce that accompanied the fries. Jonas thought it might have a hint of horseradish, I disagree, it’s seems to be more of a zesty mayonnaise. Despite differing opinions, we both agreed that the fries were good, and the sauce added an interesting flavor.

Atmosphere and Vibe

Talking about the atmosphere, Jonas and I noticed the 50s-60s feel inside the delicatessen, complete with black ceiling tiles and red accents and the staff dressed in white button-up tops and black pants. Jonas mentioned, “It’s a real deli too… you could have gone there and just bought deli meats, cheeses.” Unfortunately, we forgot to take photos of the interior, but we will find some online to share.

Pricing and Value

The discussion shifted to pricing, and I pointed out that All The Best Delicatessen tends to be pricier compared to most delis and sandwich shops. Our bill for the meal amounted to around $50 before the tip, noticeably higher than what we typically spend on deli outings.

I shared my thoughts, saying, “Once we placed our orders and waited around, we started discussing the pricing. It’s on the higher side compared to most delis or sandwich shops you’d visit.” I want to add that it is fresh and delicious so the price may be worth it to you.

Google Reviews and Other Perspectives

Jonas and I dove into Google reviews, discovering a 4.4 rating. However, we noticed some recurring complaints, particularly about pricing and the lack of free soda refills. Jonas suggested that some of the initial hiccups could be attributed to the common efficiency issues experienced during grand openings.

Final Thoughts

In summary, Jonas and I from the Miami Valley Experience give a thumbs up to All The Best Delicatessen for its top-notch food. However, we want to make sure you’re aware of the higher price point. We suggest that potential patrons check the menu online beforehand to ensure it aligns with their budget.

So, if you’re craving a genuine deli experience, with a nostalgic vibe and substantial sandwiches, All The Best Delicatessen could be the perfect spot for you. Take a chance and share your thoughts with the Miami Valley Experience. Until next time, happy dining!
